How we got here

RDH Audio was founded on the belief that acoustic science,  great equipment and honest know how can all co-exist, and best of all at a reasonable price.  We have employees and demo equipment in Houston, Dallas and LA.

What makes us different?

When you are looking for a new audio system, particularly speakers, not only your budget and taste matter but also your space. That is why we offer consultations, to ensure that extra variable is taken into account so that you get all the performance possible. Another thing that sets us apart is that we use our know how to help offer engineering services to many of the brands you know and love! If we can help them, we can help you get the most out of your setup.

Quite often, we are upgrading a customer from where another integrator left it. We find that customers feel we are able to elevate it to the next level. A customer knows they want to feel more immersed, but feels like they are missing something? We can fix that… Uneven bass response? We can fix that. About the founder

RDH Audio was founded by Richard Henthorne, a lifelong audiophile. From a young age he was fascinated by music, and more often than not found himself in the constant pursuit for better sounding audio.   Everything from home to concert systems has been examined in great detail.  We have sold speakers, modified them and even offered loudspeaker consulting services to some of your favorite manufactures. With this knowledge, we believe RDH is better, and able to provide you with the most satisfying AV experience.

Today Richard uses the latest acoustic tools to accurately respond to customers’ needs and design systems that meet customer’s desires and budgets.
